Candio helps you capture your thoughts, goals, and emotions, set future unlock dates for entries, and journey back through your memories. The Service may offer optional AI-assisted features to generate reflection prompts or insights.
3) Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use the Service.
4) Accounts
- Registration: provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- Security: notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Enforcement: we may suspend/terminate accounts for violations or to comply with law.
5) Your Content
- Ownership: you keep ownership of your content.
- License: you grant Candio a limited license to host/process/display content solely to operate and improve the Service and provide support.
- Responsibility: do not upload unlawful, abusive, or harmful content.
6) Optional AI-assisted features
- You control whether to submit text/images for generation.
- Submitted content is processed on Candio’s own servers and not shared with third parties for AI processing.
- Submitted content used for generation is deleted promptly after processing (subject to limited short-term retention for reliability, security, or legal compliance).
7) Permissions
Some features may request device permissions (such as location, photos, notifications). You can manage permissions in device settings; denying permissions may limit features.
8) Acceptable use
- No reverse engineering except where permitted by law.
- No security probing or disruption without authorization.
- No unlawful use or automated scraping unless expressly permitted.
9) Fees and subscriptions (if applicable)
If paid features are offered, billing terms are shown at purchase. Purchases are handled through the platform provider (e.g., Apple) and subject to the platform provider’s policies unless otherwise required by law.
10) Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Candio disclaims warranties and limits liability as described in the full Terms.
11) Changes
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time and will provide notice when appropriate.
12) Governing law and arbitration
These Terms are governed by the law of our principal place of business. Except where prohibited by law, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration, and class actions are waived to the maximum extent permitted.
